Region 2 of Overeaters Anonymous is looking for previous or current R2 Representatives and past Board members to serve the fellowship as a member of the Board of Directors. Elections for all positions will be held at the Region 2 Fall Assemblies:

Job Descriptions:

• Chair – Essential functions include representing R2 in all matters; serve as a R2 Delegate to the WSBC; attend three (3) annual meetings as part of the Regional Chairs Committee.

• Vice Chair – Essential functions include maintaining name badges at all R2A’s; coordinating S&T’s; maintaining the Speaker list and Master Calendar; and acting as Chair when necessary.

• Secretary – Essential functions include recording the minutes of all meetings; creating the assembly packet; and maintaining the tape library.

• Treasurer – Essential functions include accounts receivable; accounts payable; bank deposits and reconciliations; collecting and distributing mail; filing taxes; tape librarian.

• Publications Coordinator – Essential functions include creating and distributing the Region newsletter; distributing the assembly packet; maintaining IG mailing lists; updating the P&P; liaison to Webmaster.

• Events Coordinator – Essential functions include planning and coordinating all Board, Assembly, and Convention events.

• Regional Trustee – Assists as needed in the organization and operation of service structures within his/her respective region and acts as a liaison between the Board of Trustees and the region wide membership. To apply to be nominated as a trustee, please complete the WS application form.
